National Day Special Lecture: Dr. Anthony Neoh, Hong Kong Member of the National Committee of the CPPCC, Delivers Keynote on "Innovative Development in the Country's Science and Technology Sector" To celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and further strengthen students' national identity and understanding of our country's development, our school proudly held a National Day Special Assembly Lecture on September 23, 2026, themed "Innovative Development in the Country's Science and Technology Sector." Teachers and students gathered together to explore our nation's extraordinary journey from humble beginnings to becoming a global power in science and technology. *Distinguished Guest Inspires Innovation Mindset* We were deeply honored to invite Dr. Anthony Neoh, JP, Member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Justice of the Peace, and Independent Non-Executive Director of Tencent Holdings Limited and Man Wah Holdings Limited, as our keynote speaker. In his lecture, Dr. Neoh, JP, presented an engaging and accessible overview of our country's major breakthroughs across various technological fields—ranging from the Shenzhou crewed spaceflights, Chang'e lunar exploration, and deep-sea exploration, to nationwide high-speed rail and 5G networks, as well as the independently developed C919 large passenger aircraft and artificial intelligence technologies. Dr. Neoh, JP, encouraged students by highlighting that the abundant fruits of the nation's scientific innovation not only demonstrate robust comprehensive national strength, but also provide a vast stage for the new generation of youth to thrive. *Heritage and Exchange:Presenting Unique Souvenirs* Vice Principal Mr. Fung Yau Fai presented a souvenir to Dr. Anthony Neoh, JP, on behalf of the school. Notably, this souvenir features our school's patented "Handshake Model." Its surface coating was personally spray-painted by a student who won the championship in the spray painting category at the "Hong Kong Youth Skills Competition" last year, making it deeply meaningful. In addition, Dr. Neoh, JP, generously donated a collection of "National Conditions Readers" to the school library for students to borrow, helping to plant the roots of innovation and national education firmly on campus. *A Message to the Younger Generation:Striving to Be Future Tech Successors* Through this lecture, students not only broadened their horizons but also gained a profound appreciation of the vital importance of scientific and technological innovation to our country's future. As the student representative remarked in the conclusion: "As the new generation of youth, we are not only the beneficiaries of the country's technological development, but also the successors of future technological innovation." Through diverse National Day and national education activities, the school hopes to ignite students' curiosity and spirit of scientific exploration, guide them to build a solid academic foundation, equip themselves well, and contribute their youth and strength to the nation's future prosperity and technological advancement!

迎國慶專題講座：港區全國政協委員楊紹信博士親臨主講《國家科技領域的創新發展》 為慶祝中華人民共和國成立77週年，進一步加強學生的國民身分認同及對國家發展的認識，本校於2026年9月23日特別舉行了一場以「國家科技領域的創新發展」為主題的迎國慶周會專題講座。當日全校師生齊聚一堂，共同探索國家從「一窮二白」走到科技強國的非凡歷程。 *重量級嘉賓蒞臨 啟迪創科思維* 活動當日，我們非常榮幸邀請到第十四屆港區全國政協委員、香港特區政府太平紳士、騰訊控股有限公司及敏華控股有限公司獨立非執行董事——楊紹信博士, JP擔任主講嘉賓。 在講座中，楊博士, JP以深入淺出的方式，帶領同學們縱覽國家在各個科技領域的重大突破——從「神舟」飛天、「嫦娥」探月、深海探測，到覆蓋全國的高鐵與5G網絡，以及自主研發的大型客機C919和人工智能技術。 楊博士, JP更勉勵同學，國家在科技創新上的累累碩果，不僅展現了強大的綜合國力，更為新一代青年提供了廣闊的發展舞台。 *傳承與交流：獨特紀念品致謝* 由馮幼暉副校長代表學校向楊紹信博士, JP致送紀念品。值得一提的是，該紀念品為本校取得外觀專利的「握手模型」，其表面顏色更特別邀請了榮獲去年「香港青少年技能大賽噴漆組冠軍」的同學親手噴製，意義非凡。 同時，楊博士, JP亦慷慨向學校致送「國情讀本」，供同學們日後在圖書館借閱，讓創科與國情教育植根校園。 *寄語新一代：爭做未來創科接棒人* 透過此次講座，同學們不僅大開眼界，更深刻體會到科技創新對國家未來的重要性。正如同學代表在總結時所言：「作為新一代的青少年，我們既是國家科技發展的受益者，更是未來科技創新的接棒人。」 學校期望透過豐富多元的國慶及國民教育活動，激發同學們對科學的好奇心與探索精神，引導大家打好學術基礎，裝備自己，將來為國家的繁榮與科技發展貢獻青春力量！
